Our Services

Our services are tailored to help clients in their specific context and to enact meaningful change

If you are limited by geographic location, medical condition, or other barriers such as those caused by the current pandemic, you can gain access to our support through the use of online services. ClinPsych Services offers teletherapy services.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy sessions offered by ClinPsych Services are typically 50 minutes in length, and can range from being once-off consultations to regular, intensive psychotherapy. Here at CPS, we utilise empirically supported therapies for responding effectively and mindfully to life challenges, and associated mental ill-health.

Family Therapy

ClinPsych Services also offer family therapy, which can be either 50 or 90 minutes in length. Family therapy examines individual and/or relational challenges from a systemic and familial perspective. This conceptualisation of issues allows for novel and systematic avenues for affecting change and growth, both at the individual and family level.

Psychological Evaluations

ClinPsych Services also offer psychological evaluations, to help better understand a client’s psychological profile, including their capacity for emotion regulation, empathy and understanding, general intellectual functioning, and how their personality functions in its immediate environment.

Psychoeducational Evaluations

We also offer psychoeducational evaluations, which are designed to assess an individual’s strengths and weaknesses in relation to their academic and/or occupational abilities. A client’s cognitive, executive, social-emotional and behavioural functioning and regulation all contribute to their ability to engage effectively with work and learning material. Academic and learning abilities are also important to consider, such as basic literacy, numeracy, and linguistic skills. Psychoeducational evaluations offered by CPS are broadly encompassing while specific to client needs.

we focus on specifying maladaptive processes that are contributing to overarching problems.
